Contemporary art in a historical castle

Inside the ancient history of the Baroque Castle of Rivoli in the Piedmont region, designed by the Italian architect Filippo Juvarra, lies an authentic surprise. The castle hosts a Museum of Contemporary Art, consisting of a huge collection of masterpieces by contemporary artists. The museum follows international and radical art movements in constant dialogue between history and current events, promoting the dissemination of work by young Italian and international artists through temporary exhibitions. Visiting this place is to discover a historical castle and travel through centuries to immerse yourself in the multiple languages of the contemporary world. Artworks and permanent installations, especially made for the Castle, form a perfect dialogue with the prestigious architectural vestiges of the Savoy Residence. The museum also hosts theatrical performances and concerts, films and meetings, and roundtables dedicated to artistic disciplines in general.
