Her story

How many plaques naming the streets of our cities are dedicated to women? A minority but many glorious women made history and discover them can reveal hidden corners of towns and fine details of art. This itinerary link Milan to Bologna through the history of their great women, celebrated for braveness, intelligence, ability to impact on their time. Our companions of journey will be the two rival cousins Isabella of Aragon and Beatrice d'Este, who contended a throne; Ginevra and Caterina Sforza, ladies of Bologna and Imola, We will go looking for the Lady with the Ermine alias Cecilia Gallerani whose sensuality was immortalized by Leonardo da Vinci. We will make a leap in history to meet the women of Bel canto as Maria Callas and Malibran Garcia and we will return to the Risorgimento with the extraordinary personality of Cristina Belgiojoso.

Graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna and professional Tourist Guide since 1991, she has attended several updating courses and creates special and unusual guided monographic visits for schools and for art’s and history’s lovers.

Federica Bruccoleri

Graduated in Art History and Critic in Milan, she works as a Tourist Guide since years, especially on monothematic tours, like Milan of Women, Milan of Stendhal, Milan of Verdi and Milan of historical coffees. Appassionated about photography, she won many Italian competitions.
